Conrad Hammond ’00

Conrad was born and raised in Texas. He attended a Catholic High School in Austin and played football and ran track.

As an undergraduate, Brother Hammond was very actively involved with the re-born Chi Chapter, serving multiple terms as Rush Chairman, where he was instrumental in recruiting new members. He also served as Social Chairman.

Hammond graduated from Purdue with a Civil Engineering degree in December 2002. Post graduation, he has been working with Walsh Construction. Originally located in Chicago, Conrad has since joined the National Building Group and has been traveling the US working on military construction projects. He has lived in Manhattan, KS; Dover, DE; and Virginia Beach, VA. Currently he resides in Stafford, VA (just south of DC) and is building a Helicopter Hangar on the Quantico Marine Base.

In 2007, Conrad married the love of his life; his long time college girlfriend, Amy Houlette. On January 24th, 2009, Amy gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Ava Hammond.

Brother Hammond is a strong supporter and has provided financial support to his High School and Kappa Sigma.

In their free time, Conrad and Amy enjoy traveling for weddings, spending time wakeboarding and boating, and enjoy spending time in Winter Park, Co snowboarding and skiing. With the latest addition to our family, we also enjoy chasing a baby around the house and changing diapers.
